Ready to become a RWANDA CLOTHING Fashion Model? Then you’re in the right place!
First and foremost: you don’t need any previous experience or a portfolio of expensive professional headshots to apply. We’re looking for Rwanda’s next great modeling talent to model for our RWANDA CLOTHING fashion brand in catwalk fashion shows and photo shoots. So don’t be shy – everyone starts somewhere! Beginners and fresh faces are exactly what we’re looking for. In this business, being new can be an invaluable advantage, so don’t be afraid to throw your hat in the ring. It’s time to introduce yourself to us – and the world of fashion!
As you complete your application, remember you’re trying to make an impression on someone who has never met you. Use your application to show us who you are and what you look like at your most natural.
Your best bet is to grab your parent, sibling, or best friend – the person you trust most snapping your picture on their smart phone camera – and start having fun. When in doubt, think passport photo over fashion shoot.
Of course, there are a few specific rules in this application process, so be sure to provide us with all required information about you that we have listed below when you send us your application email (send photos/videos as attachments to your email):
1: PROVIDE US WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND YOUR MEASUREMENTS:
- Name
- Age (if you are under 18 years old we need the written permission of your parents or legal guardian to work with you)
- Gender
- Height
- Weight
- Hair Color
- Eye Color
- Waist
- Bust
- Hips
- Shoe Size
2: SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS:
Please submit four photos of yourself showing you:
- 1. full-length (your whole body shown from the front, your face looks direction to the camera)
- 2. waist-up (like a full-length taken from the front but your body shown only above the waist – no legs on the photo)
- 3. close-up (only your face and neck from the front)
- 4. profile (your full body and face shown from the side – your face is looking to the side)
These don’t need to be professionally done, but there are some guidelines here you should pay attention to:
- Shoot your photos outdoors in natural daylight but not direct sunlight
- Remember, we’re looking for natural so no makeup. Models may wear makeup in pictures, but even models don’t wear makeup on their day off. We want to see your natural look – clean, beautiful, and makeup-free
- You’re not walking the runway – so a simple outfit will do. Skinny jeans and a sleeveless, plain colored top for girls; form-fitting jeans and a solid t-shirt for guys
- Wear your hair down
- and no smiles, please. This is like a passport photo to document your look for us
In case you want additionally submit a video of yourself to your application, please read this guidelines for a video application:
Video Guidelines:
- Make a brief, 30-second video
- If you submit a video as well, we’d like to get to know your personality and see how you walk in full-length – so imagine you are on the catwalk and show us some of your walking and moving talents. Just us a normal, casual walk back and forth in front of the camera so we can see your full line – no dancing or running
- You should be fresh-faced, with no makeup and clean hair worn down
- Tell us your name, age, height, and where you’re from
- and yes, now you can feel free to smile for us!
A last thing to mention: We are trying to respond to every application as quick as possible but unfortunately sometimes, due to high demand, we aren’t able to reach out to everyone. However, if we feel you’re right for us we will surely be in touch. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear back from us.
